Do you include people who like competition,
always in a hurry, dare to try,
but easy to anger? If so, maybe
you include people with
personality type A, and
unknowingly increase the risk for having problems with the heart. American Heart Association
revealed major problems in type
A behavior is stress. Strong-
willed person put himself in
position with constant pressure,
so their bodies react by producing stress hormones in
greater numbers. This excessive
hormones in the long term can
be detrimental. A study in 1959 which was
published in the Journal of the
American Medical Association
found people with type A
personalities have a greater risk
of heart disease than people with type B are more patient. A 10-year study on 200 young
men in Kentucky, United States,
showed that type A men tend to
smoke more and more and more
during the study. They also
showed an increase in blood pressure. We know that the two
factors that increase the risk of
heart disease. However, according to a study in
2006 were heart disease
patients who have type D
personality was also quite a lot.
People with type D personality is
characterized by tendency to express negative emotions and
simultaneously inhibit these
emotions by avoiding social
contact to the environment.
They are also easily angered, it's
easy to feel anxious and harbored hostility.
